The Opportunity
As part of our exciting new HR and OD function, you will play a critical role in leading the organisation to transform and revolutionise the way we develop early talent and internal colleagues through apprenticeships. Working alongside the organisation, learning providers, schools, colleges and other local regional networks to expand the apprenticeship provision at the council and increase participation for improved organisational performance.
Whilst your focus will be apprenticeships, you will work with the wider business in building a pipeline of talent for all of our schemes and growing our offering around internships, work experience and traineeships.
You will develop strong collaborative relationships with service leads across the organisation and with partner organisations, providing specialist apprenticeship advice and guidance to embed these fantastic development opportunities into existing and newly designed roles.
