About the Role
Due to continued growth, we are currently seeking Trainee Epos Field Engineer to join our team whose key responsibilities will include on-site technical support for the deployed infrastructure monitoring performance, diagnosing and fixing issues as they arise, providing a fast response service to issues and queries
This role is perfect for a customer-focused individual with experience in the hospitality or events industry looking to start/pursue a career in Engineering/IT.
New EPOS Engineers will receive comprehensive training and full operational support from our experienced team, transforming you into a Bleep EPOS Expert.
Responsibilities:
Installing and uninstalling terminals, equipment and systems
Customer focused with the confidence to work alongside prestigious clients in a one to one environment
Full and detailed completion of all appropriate paperwork
Provide a timely, polite, and efficient service.
Present a positive Company image
Provide Technical Department Manager with regular updates on progress, details of any other relevant issues, or further action to be taken
Clear understanding of SLA
Dealing with routine enquiries and answer frequently asked questions.
Logging all calls and e-mails onto the call log system to agreed data integrity brief
Investigating all incidents, document, resolve or transfer to line manager using prescribed operating procedures
Provide Client with any additional information or training. Advise users on operation of equipment
Undertake the breakdown of event/venue specific equipment including the de-rigging and storage of any mobile technology upon completion.
Ensures technical and operational issues are escalated in a timely fashion
About You
Motorbike/Car Driving License – essential
Hospitality/events experience – essential
EPOS/IT Support experience desirable (but not essential)
Knowledge of basic networking and internet connections
Organised with exemplary communication skills
Full, clean Driving license
Willing to work flexible hours as per the requirements of the client – hours may alter to fit with the workload
Ability to work in a fast-moving environment, be self-motivated and a team worker
Able to work on own initiative with minimal direct supervision
Excellent communication skills at all levels, both internal & external
Strong organisational and time management skills
Desire to be successful and grow with the role
